Women's Golf finishes 7th at Queens Tournament

FORT MILL, SC -- The Catawba College women's golf team finished seventh out of eight teams at the TopFlight/Rafferty's Women's Intercollegiate Tournament, hosted by Queens College, which concluded Monday. The event was held at the 5,893-yard, par-72 Regent Park Golf Club. Sophomore Kristen Kyle (Easley, SC) led the Lady Indians for the third straight tournament. She finished tenth overall with a two-day total of 164. She shot 82 for both rounds. Following Kyle, was senior Aimee Davis (Salisbury, NC), who placed 21st, shooting rounds of 87 and 85 for a total of 172. Longwood won the team event, with Amanda Diamond, of Longwood, claiming the individual title with a total of 149. She shot a tournament low-round of 71 on Monday. TEAM RESULTS: 1.
