Men's Soccer posts shutout over Bobcats

BUCKHANNON, WV -- Catawba defeated host West Virginia Wesleyan 2-0 in men’s soccer action on Friday night at Wood Street Field. Catawba improves to 2-1-1 with the victory, while the Bobcats fall to 2-2-1. Freshman Jamie Robinson (Shelby, NC) broke a scoreless tie a little over a minute before the half, picking up his first collegiate goal to give the Tribe the lead. Tyler Kulp (Ephrata, PA) added an insurance goal with three minutes remaining finding the net from 25 yards out. The Indian defense limited WV Wesleyan to just four shots with Dan Fitzgerald (Seaford, DE) making one save in earning the shutout. Catawba had 14 shots and had a dozen corner kicks to none for the Bobcats.
