Softball to Hold Open Tryout for Class of 2012 on October 29

The Catawba College softball coaches will hold an open tryout for high school seniors (Class of 2012) on Saturday, October 29. The tryout will be held at Whitley Field on the Catawba College campus. Registration is from 8:30am-9:00am with the tryout beginning at 9:00am. Please contact the softball office at 704-637-4359 for more information. Below is a list of items that are needed for the tryout.

Each participate must present the following items before they can tryout:

• Complete the Catawba College Tryout Medical Form (this can be found on the gocatawbaindians.com website under the Athletes header on the main bar)
  
• Have a copy of their transcript with SAT/ACT score
  
• Must be registered with the NCAA Eligibility Center and provide their clearinghouse ID#
  
• Have a copy of a physical that was in the last 6 months prior to the date of the tryout
