Football Game at Elizabeth City Selected For Internet Broadcast

ELIZABETH CITY, NC -- Catawba has added more national exposure for its football program as the game with Elizabeth City State University on September 1st has been selected as one of the NCAA Division II Football Games of the Week to be broadcast over the internet. The game will be available and streamed LIVE at http://www.NCAAsports.com/dii. Earlier this summer, Catawba was selected to host a live national television broadcast of its game with Mars Hill.
The Elizabeth City contest is slated for a 6:00 pm kickoff at Roebuck Stadium in Elizabeth City, NC. It was chosen by the NCAA Division II Presidents Council and the NCAA Division II Media Advisory Group as one of four (4) broadband (internet) NCAA Division II Football Games of the Week. This is the second year of the NCAA Division II Regular Season TV and Broadband Package in which NCAA Productions will produce several regular season football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball TV and broadband games. Catawba played at Lenoir-Rhyne in basketball last season as part of the internet package.
