Men's Soccer gets back into win column

LAURINBURG, NC -- Catawba College defeated host St. Andrews 2-0 on Wednesday afternoon in men's soccer action. The Tribe moves to 3-3 on the year, while St. Andrews falls to 1-5. Senior's Ben Foti (Fayetteville, NC) and Jeff Shea (Ft. Langley, BC, CANADA) each had a goal and an assist to lead the Tribe. Foti scored Catawba's first goal in the 40th minute off a cross from Shea, then the duo reversed roles for Shea's goal in the 55th minute. The Tribe's initial goal came off a rebound from Shea's shot. The second, from Shea, was from the top of the box. Catawba outshot St. Andrews 15-11. Knight goalkeeper Kevin Pych had six saves.
