Football Blue-White Game Postponed Until April 9
Catawba's spring Blue-White football game, scheduled for this Saturday, has been postponed until Wednesday, April 9, at 4 p.m., in Shuford Stadium. The Chiefs Club luncheon, scheduled for Saturday at noon, has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
The game is being postponed due to practices being limited this week because of the rainy weather. Also, Howard Williamson, one of three quarterbacks vying for the starting position, is out this week due to the death of his father, H. Evert Williamson.
The Ladies Night event, hosted by Chiefs Club president Tippie Miller and featuring football questions and answers with head coach Chip Hester, will still be held this Friday, April 4, 7 p.m., in the Michael Team Room of Hayes Field House.
