Santoli Earns Player of Week Honors From womensfieldhockey.com

Catawba sophomore Sam Santoli (Nesconset, NY/Smithtown West HS) has been named the Division II Player of the Week by womensfieldhockey.com.  The forward helped the Catawba Indians close the season with a pair of wins, including an upset of #3 East Stroudsburg on Monday.

Santoli took part in all three goals during the week and twice scored overtime game-winners.  Against ESU, Santoli assisted on the tying goal with 15 minutes to play then notched the winner just three minutes into overtime in the 2-1 victory.  She followed up with the lone goal, again in overtime, in the 1-0 win over Limestone on Saturday.
