Catawba Announces 2012 Football Schedule

SALISBURY, NC -- Catawba College Director of Athletics, Dennis Davidson, has announced the 2012 Catawba Indians football schedule.  The Indians have five home games among the 11-game schedule which includes the renewal of the Mayor’s Cup game with cross-town rival Livingstone.

Catawba opens the season with a trip to West Liberty, WV, for a first-ever meeting with the Hilltoppers on Sept. 1.  The Indians will play their first home game the following week as they host Livingstone for the Mayor’s Cup.  Catawba plays its first South Atlantic Conference game on Sept. 15 at Newberry.
