(2/1/12) Blue-White Weekend is March 30-31 Just a reminder of our exciting activities slated for Blue-White Weekend Friday, March 30th and Saturday, March 31st, including Ladies Night and the Blue-White football game: • Ladies Night - Friday, March 30th at 6pm in Kirkland Lobby of Goodman Gym. Tippie Miller leads this effort and she works awfully hard. Tippie, Linda White and Beverly Leonard will give you some great home entertaining ideas for the first part of the evening. The second portion will feature 5-6 Catawba football players as they answer your questions. This part never disappoints as we find many of them have futures as "stand up comedians." • Football Game - Saturday, March 31st with a 10am kick-off in Shuford Stadium. The game will feature the 2012 edition of the Catawba Football squad as they begin to rebuild from last fall's disappointing season. They are working hard and optimism abounds for next fall. Lunch will be served buffet style in Kirkland Lobby as soon as the Blue-White game concludes at a cost of $10 per person. Head Coach Chip Hester will discuss next fall's squad as well as recruiting efforts during lunch. You don’t want to miss Chip and his remarks.
