(4/23/12) Three From Softball Voted to SAC All-Tournament Squad ROCK HILL, SC -- Three members of the Catawba softball team have been voted to the 2012 SAC All-Tournament team. Earning spots on the 13-member team were catcher Tara Gibbs (Waynesville, NC/Tuscola HS), first baseman Alli Justice (Bishopville, MD/Decatur HS) and outfielder Amanda Terry (Cordova, NC/Richmond Senior HS). Gibbs was the second-leading hitter in the tournament, batting .517 over the three games. She collected four hits in seven at bats while drawing four walks for a .72 on-base percentage. The junior had a RBI and scored a run. Justice went six-for-11 over three games for a .545 average. Two of the senior’s hits were doubles. She had two RBI and scored a pair of runs. Terry, a junior, led the tournament with three doubles. She batted .545, going six-for-11.
