(9/15/12) Anderson Gets Past Women's Soccer 1-0 SALISBURY, NC -- Anderson snapped Catawba's three-match winning streak, handing the hosts a 1-0 defeat in South Atlantic Conference women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon at Frock Field. The Trojans improve to 3-2-1 overall and 1-0 in the SAC, while the Lady Indians fall to 3-3 and 0-1. Jessica Kleinberg scored the lone goal of the match with just under 30 seconds to go in the first half. Anderson countered after a Catawba corner kick with 45 seconds left. Heather Hooper got to the clearance and sent a ball ahead to Kleinberg who out-raced the Catawba defense and beat Lady Indian keeper Angelica Pawlowski (Las Vegas, NV/Bishop Gorman HS). Catawba held a 9-3 edge in shots, but could not beat Trojan keeper Kaitlyn Neipp, who made a pair of saves. Marissa Johnson made the biggest save for Anderson as she cleared a shot off the goal line in the first half and the game scoreless.
