Women's Golf Land Seventh at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate

 MYRTLE BEACH, SC -- Catawba finished seventh out of 15 teams at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate women's golf tournament which concluded on Tuesday.  Lincoln Memorial hosted the event at the 5,988-yard, par-72 Sea Trail Golf Club.  Saint Leo won the event by 21 strokes over the host Railsplitters with a total of 592.  Catawba shot 648 for the two rounds.

Leslie Long (East Bend, NC/Forbush HS) led Catawba for the second straight tournament.  The junior had rounds of 80 and 76 to finish 15th with her 156 total.  Madison Kennedy (Salisbury, NC/Salisbury HS) was 21st with a 158 total.  Tusculum's Jillian Corum took medalist honors with a 145 total.
