Women's Tennis Drops Non-Conference Match With Wingate

SALISBURY, NC -- Catawba fell to visiting Wingate 8-1 in non-conference women’s tennis action on Wednesday afternoon at the Johnson Tennis Center.  The Bulldogs win their opener, while the Catawba Indians fall to 4-1. 

Catawba’s lone point came at #1 singles with Liz Renteria (Miramar, FL/Archbishop McCarthy HS) claiming a 6-4, 6-4 victory.  Ally Prior (Raleigh, NC/Wakefield HS), Lauren Sledd (Roanoke, VA/Cave Spring HS) and Olivia Myers (Lexington, NC/W. Davidson HS) lost three-set singles matches.
