Cross Country Finishes Second and Third at Pre-Conference Meet

WINGATE, NC -- Catawba ran in its final tune-up before the league meet at the Pre-Conference Meet held at Wingate on Thursday afternoon.  The Catawba men were second and the women third among four schools.  Wingate won both the men’s and women’s races.

Freshman Nathan Hatley (King, NC/W. Stokes HS) led the Catawba men over the 5k course.  He was sixth overall in a time of 17:01.  Olivia Myers (Lexington, NC/W. Davidson) paced the Catawba women with a time of 20:34 for a seventh-place finish.
