(10/20/12) Crifasi Runs to Cross Country All-SAC Honors
GREENEVILLE, TN -- The Catawba women finished eighth and the men ninth at the 2012 South Atlantic Conference Cross Country Championships held on Saturday morning at Tusculum College. Lenoir-Rhyne claimed the women's championship, while the Mars Hill men won the men's title. Olivia Myers (Lexington, NC/W. Davidson) led the Catawba women in the 5k. She had a 24th-place finish with a time of 21:25. Erica Boles (King, NC/W. Stokes HS) was the next highest finisher as she placed 33rd in a time of 22:07. Christian Crifasi (Ramseur, NC/E. Randolph HS) ran to all-conference honors for the fourth time as he clocked in with a time of 27:46 to finish 11th in the men's 8k. Nathan Hatley (King, NC/W.
