Rutherford Paces Men's Golf at Stoney Creek Shootout

WHITSETT, NC -- The Catawba men’s golf team competed as a ‘B’ team on Saturday in a one-round event at the 7,032-yard, par-71 Stoney Creek Country Club.  Limestone won the Stoney Creek Shootout with a total of 302, topping Pfeiffer by five shots.  Brevard (311) was third and Catawba (324) fourth.

Limestone’s Clayton Presant took medalist honors with an even-par round of 71.  Tyler Rutherford (Independence, VA/Grayson Co. HS) led Catawba with a 75 and was sixth.
