2003 Football schedule announced

Catawba College has announced its 2003 football schedule.  The Indians will play 11 regular season games, including five home games at the newly reconstructed Shuford Stadium.  After hosting Livingstone in the annual Mayor’s Cup game, the Tribe will hit the road for four straight weeks.  Three of the contests are road games at Edward Waters, Fayetteville State and NCAA I-AA Wofford.

Catawba will play four of its seven league games at home, including a homecoming “Battle of the Indians” with Newberry on Oct. 25.  The Indians follow with a home game against Tusculum, then travel to Carson-Newman before closing out the season with a home contest against Lenoir-Rhyne.
