Football Announces Military Appreciation Day

SALISBURY, N.C. -- The Catawba College athletics department has announced a Military Appreciation Day for its football game on November 14 against South Atlantic Conference foe, Lenoir-Rhyne. The game is slated for 1:30 p.m. with ticket booths opening at noon.

All individuals that have served in the military are welcome to attend with their families for a discounted rate of $5 per ticket. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Catawba athletics main office in the Abernathy Physical Education building or by calling 704-637-4720. New for 2015, all major credit cards are accepted during pre-sale and at the home gate on game day.

The game against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears will conclude the regular season for the playoff hopeful Indians. Catawba currently stands first place in the South Atlantic Conference at 7-2 with a road trip to Tusculum before hosting the Bears the following week.

Lenoir-Rhyne, the defending conference champions, currently sits 5-4 on the year and hosts Brevard before coming to Catawba.
