Football Games to Air on WAXN Channel 64 in Charlotte
Catawba Athletics is excited to announce that 10 of the 11 regular-season football games will be televised live on both over-the-air stations and cable outlets throughout the country this season. WAXN channel 64 will serve as the Charlotte flagship station. The games will be produced by M.E.ProVideo & Distribution.
“We are excited to have this partnership to be able to have Catawba football available to 20 million households,” stated Catawba Athletic Director Larry Leckonby.
The broadcasts will begin with the season opener at West Georgia on September 1. The only game that will not be carried is the game at Wingate on Oct. 13.
“We are very excited to have M.E. ProVideo providing our coverage this season,” said Catawba Head Football Coach Curtis Walker. “We still want our fans at the game, but love the opportunity to showcase Catawba football to a wide audience.“
In addition to WAXN in Charlotte, the games will be carried by WILN, in Wilmington, N.C., Cox Sports Television, NBC Sports Chicago, NESN National, TUFFTV outlets and WWSB in Tampa, Fla., on their OTT Digital and on ROKU, Amazon Fire and Apple TV.
