The Catawba video streaming got off to success in its initial start up. Catawba was able to live stream three soccer matches and a football game last week without any major issues. The athletic department plans to stream all but one home event through the remainder of the fall.
Nearly 250 people watched the football game with Livingstone, while soccer matches with Barton and St. Andrews had over 50 viewers. We hope to continue to offer the webcasts free of charge, using advertising revenue to cover the cost.
If you have not created an account to view the live streams, just log on to www.gocatawbaindians.com and click the Live Video tab on the left side of the screen. Click an upcoming game and the 'Click to View' tab. Then click to create an account. Once you enter an email address a password will be sent to you on the email account that was given. Once you return to view the game, just enter the email and password and you will be ready to watch the stream.
After you have set up an account, you will have the option to change the password that was automatically assigned. To change your password, return to the login screen on the video links and sign in. Then, go to the 'Profile' tab on your account and change the password that was issued to you by typing your new password over the old one in the password box.
