CRIFASI AND MYERS LEAD CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS AT BULLDOG STAMPEDE

WINGATE, NC -- The Catawba men were third and the women fifth at the Bulldog Stampede Cross Country Meet held on Saturday morning on the campus of Wingate University.  The Mars Hill men claimed the 8k race, while the Milligan women took the 5k race.

Senior Christian Crifasi (Ramseur, NC/E. Randolph HS) again paced the Catawba men in the 8k.  He ran a time of 27:14 to finish fifth overall.  Freshman Nathan Hatley (King, NC/W. Stokes HS) posted a 22nd-place finish with a time of 29:22.

Junior Olivia Myers (Lexington, NC/W. Davidson) was tenth to lead the Catawba women.  She had a time of 20:32 on the 5k course.  Freshman Olivia Williams (Marshall, NC/Madison HS) clocked in at 20:587 and was 18th.
