 | (12/3/12) Former Men's Soccer Standout Named Head Women's Soccer Coach at NC State RALEIGH,NC -- Former Catawba College men’s soccer standout, Tim Santoro, has been named the head women’s soccer coach at N.C. State. The announcement was made by Director of Athletics Debbie Yow on Friday. Santoro is a 1994 graduate, who earned honorable mention All-America honors as a senior.
| (10/31/12) Men's Soccer Season Ends With 1-0 Loss at LMU
HARROGATE, TN -- The Catawba men's soccer team saw its season come to an end with a 1-0 loss to host Lincoln Memorial in the first round of the 2012 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Tournament on Wednesday afternoon at the LMU Soccer Field. The Railsplitters, seeded third, improve to 12-3-1 and advance to Friday's semifinals. The Catawba Indians end their campaign at 9-7-3.
| (10/31/12) Men's Soccer Puts Three on All-SAC Teams ROCK HILL, SC -- Catawba senior Carson Smith (Mooresville, NC/Mooresville HS) was named first team, while juniors Corey Faughnan (Jacksonville, NC/Jacksonville HS) and Dohmnall Minogue (Greystones, IRELAND/Presentation) were selected to the second team of the 2012 South Atlantic Conference Men’s Soccer teams. The awards were announced on Wednesday by the league office. These three will lead the sixth-seeded Catawba Indians into the SAC Tournament at Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday.
