(12/3/12) Whitmer Named to Volleyball All-Region Team  LEXINGTON, KY -- Catawba senior outside hitter, Kaitlyn Whitmer (Ferrum, VA/Franklin Co. HS), capped a stellar career by being named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-Southeast Region Team. Whitmer also earned AVCA all-region honors and was an honorable mention pick as a sophomore. She was a three-time All-South Atlantic Conference performer and league Freshman of the Year in 2009.
